Grand Rapids Tire & Auto is a locally owned, full-service automotive repair shop committed to honest repairs done right. We’re looking to add one experienced B- or A-level technician to our team.
Our shop is technician-owned and operated, so leadership understands what it takes to do the job right and sets realistic expectations. We focus on accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship, and honest repairs—not rushing jobs, cutting corners, or playing flat-rate games.

What You’ll Do
-
Perform general automotive repair and maintenance
-
Diagnose drivability, electrical, and performance concerns
-
Complete brake, suspension, steering, and engine repairs
-
Perform tire repairs & install tires.

Follow proper diagnostic procedures—no guesswork
-
Work as part of an experienced, supportive & friendly team

Help strengthen our small, professional team
What We’re Looking For

B-level or A-level automotive technician
-
Professional shop experience required
-
Certifications are a plus but not required
-
Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
-
Takes pride in quality workmanship and doing things right
-
Looking for a long-term home—not a revolving door
Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

Dependable and punctual, with regular and reliable attendance
