Grand Rapids Tire & Auto is a locally owned, full-service automotive repair shop committed to honest repairs done right. We’re looking to add one skilled B- or A-level technician to our team.
Our shop is owner-operated, with a top-level A technician working in the bays every day. We believe in proper diagnostics, quality workmanship, and doing repairs the right way — not rushing jobs or playing flat-rate games.

Pay Range (Hourly)

B Technician: $27–$34 per hour

A Technician: $34–$45 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skill level, and certifications
What You’ll Do

General automotive repair and maintenance
-
Diagnostics for drivability, electrical, and performance concerns

Brake, suspension, steering, and engine repair
-
Use proper diagnostic procedures — no guesswork

Work alongside an experienced A-tech owner

Help strengthen a small, professional team
We already have 2 technicians on staff. This position is about supporting the shop, not carrying it alone.
What We’re Looking For

B-level or A-level automotive technician

Certifications preferred (ASE a plus)

Strong diagnostic and repair skills
